Ok so here's the deal

Me!

I'm a freshman in my second semester of college, NSU in Tahlequah OK. If you read my other blog, you know I was home schooled almost my entire life, with the exception of one semester of eighth grade at a magnet prep school (eww). So it's no exaggeration to say college was (and sometimes still is) a bit of a shock. I mean, someone had to tell me what DTF stood for..
So last semester, I got to school and met my roomie. She was pretty cool, a little more laid back than me. It is completely safe to say I went a little crazy. I lost my virginity two weeks into the semester, and dated the guy for less than six weeks. I picked up cigarettes and tried marijuana. I also recently apologized to my big brother for giving him so much shit for all the crazy party stuff he did when he was my age!
My campus is smoke free, so there are two spots that are *technically* off campus that the cops turn the other cheek too. So since there are only two spots, all the smokers know each other. That's the crowd I fell into. And of the thirty to forty odd students, I'm probably actually close to four of them. Jonathan, Cecilia, Amy, and Miah. Of course, we've had our spats, but good friends always make it through those. We named the bigger, more popular, smoke spot The Wall.
I met a bunch of TKE brothers out at the wall, so when it came time for their first big party, of course I went. I think it was their Halloween party, and I pulled out all the stops. I wore my renaissance faire get up; corset; blouse; leggings; belt. I know I impressed quite a few people that night, and I also made the mistake of sleeping with a friend. One of the worst ideas EVER. We were both single, so no moral codes were broken. But I liked him, and he thought we were just good friends and he wanted to stay that way. So after, our entire friendship was awkward. I don't recommend it.

But that was my first taste for TKE parties, and I've been going ever since. I think I've only missed one.
So right now, my ankle is fractured. There is a club/bar just off campus, within walking distance, called Effx. And their deal is that you have to be eighteen to get in and, of course, twenty one to get alcohol. Monday night is Country Night and Thursday night is Ladies Night. Country night is seven bucks to get in, seven bucks for a pitcher of beer, and free refills til they run out or close; whichever comes first. Ladies Night means girls get in free, guys pay seven bucks. Free beer for everyone. They check your ID at the door to make sure you're eighteen, but once you're in, they don't care. So someone with a 21+ bracelet gets the beer, and just passes it around. So yeah, as much free beer as you want every Thursday? Walking distance from campus? They get packed.
So a couple weeks ago, I was stepping down from the dance floor, lost my balance, and fell on my foot sideways. I was drunk, and Cecilia just kept giving me more beer to numb it enough to walk home. I ended up walking across the street to the gas station where I saw my friend Ely and begged a ride home. When I woke up, I'd completely forgotten about it until I tried to get up to go to the bathroom. It hurt so bad I couldn't stop crying. I called my mom and explained everything. My dad was in Tahlequah within two hours to take me to a doctors office to get it checked out. And also to bring me my crutches from the last time I sprained my ankle(same ankle too).
Ok, so a couple nights ago, I spent almost three hours trying to figure out how to get my iTunes music onto my Android HTC One VX. Downloaded two different programs that said they would do it, and didn't deliver. So I was out at the wall having a smoke and complaining about my frustration. My friend Andrew pipes up with the most simple solution I'd ever heard, and it WORKS! Ready?
Open iTunes>Highlight the songs you want>Copy to a folder on your desktop>Highlight the songs on your desktop>copy to Windows Media Player. Done.
That's all for now but since I have nothing to do tomorrow, I'll probably get sick of Netflix at some point and post some more.
